Indian Culture and the Spirit of Seva (Service)

At the very core of Indian culture lies a magnificent concept — Seva, or selfless service. Unlike mere charity, Seva is offered with no expectation of return, done as an act of worship to the Divine in every being.
Seva in Our Scriptures
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us about Nishkama Karma — action without attachment to its fruits. When we serve others without expecting anything in return, we purify our soul and accumulate immense spiritual merit.
Lord Krishna says in the Gita: "Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform — do that as an offering to Me."
Our Seva Programs
Sanatan Swaraj Seva Trust runs multiple Seva programs throughout the year:
- Free medical camps in rural areas
- Educational support for underprivileged children
- Food distribution (Anna Daan) during festivals and disasters
- Environmental conservation drives
We believe that a society that practices Seva is a society that thrives. Join us in this sacred mission.
